About Kaizen Voice

Built by a contractor who kept losing real jobs to missed calls.

Kaizen Voice didn’t come out of some Silicon Valley pitch deck.
It came from a glass job site, a ringing phone, and another big job going to voicemail.

Doug MacDonald—owner of Glass Savers—has spent well over a decade restoring high-end architectural glass on towers, resorts, and theme parks. He’s personally watched $1,500 “small” jobs all the way up to $75,000 projects slip away because the phone rang while he was on a balcony, in a lift, or mid-grind and couldn’t stop to answer.

The pattern was always the same: the best jobs called once, maybe twice. If they hit voicemail, they were gone.

He tried everything else first.

Nothing fit an owner-operator running real jobs in the field. No one was building a truly premium product for trades—glass, plumbing, HVAC, mitigation—where a single missed call can be a $1,500+ mistake.

So he built the tool he needed for Glass Savers first… and then for plumbers who live the exact same problem every day.

Built exclusively for home-service contractors (not tech bros)

Doug still runs crews. He still deals with scratched glass, tight timelines, GCs, and change orders. Kaizen Voice was designed inside that chaos—not in a conference room.

First it protected his own pipeline at Glass Savers. Then it was tuned for emergency plumbers who are in crawlspaces, under houses, or on another job when Google and LSA calls hit.

No fluff. No buzzwords. Just a system that answers, triages, filters out the time-wasters, books the real jobs, and hands you a clean summary—without pulling you off the ladder or away from your family.

What actually sets Kaizen apart

📱 A real field-ready app with push, not just a dashboard

Most “solutions” make you live inside a web console and dig through email summaries. Kaizen Voice gives you a clean mobile/PWA experience with instant push notifications, call cards, and transcripts—built for someone who’s actually on the move.

🧠 Trained on 1,000+ hours of real contractor calls

Glass, plumbing, HVAC, mitigation, and more. The agent understands emergency vs. non-emergency, price-shopping vs. serious buyers, and how to sound like a sharp in-house dispatcher—not a robot.

⚡ Answers in 2–3 rings and does real triage

It doesn’t just “take a message.” It classifies the call, asks the right questions, and follows your playbook—whether that’s shutting off a main, prioritizing a sewer backup, or politely declining the $75 time-waster that’s outside your service area.

🔄 Drops everything straight into the tools you already use

Call summary, booking details, and transcript land where your team already lives—your CRM, your calendar, and your phone. No duplicate data entry. No new “system” for techs to learn.

🔒 No data-selling, no second agenda

Your calls and your customers stay yours. We don’t resell leads, mine your data for ads, or quietly build a marketplace on top of your hard-earned brand. Kaizen exists to make your business more profitable, not ours at your expense.

We’re not trying to be the cheapest chatbot. We set out to build the premium phone system that high-ticket contractors and emergency plumbers should have had years ago.

Straight from the guy who built it

“I didn’t wake up wanting to run a software company. I just got tired of choosing between doing high-focus work and answering the phone that pays for the work.

In Glass Savers, I’ve missed plenty of calls that turned out to be $1,500 jobs. I’ve also watched opportunities grow into $75,000 projects when we did catch them. Losing those to voicemail because I’m grinding glass, on a lift, or on another site is sickening.

I also hated triaging everything myself—stopping mid-job to answer calls that were too small, out of area, or never going to book. It killed my focus and my day, but ignoring the phone killed the pipeline.

Kaizen Voice fixed that. It answers instantly, sounds like a real dispatcher, filters out the noise, books the serious work, and pushes everything to me in an app with push notifications so I can glance, approve, and keep moving.

I still use it every day in my own glass business. And now plumbers are using the same engine to protect their emergency calls—the ones that happen when they’re under a house or finally sitting down to dinner.

No gimmicks. No bait-and-switch. Just a tool built by a contractor who was done losing real money to missed calls and bad systems.”

Our Mission

Never let another serious contractor—or emergency plumber—lose a real job because of a missed call, ever again.

P.S. If you’re tired of watching real, high-ticket calls die in voicemail, this is your sign. Let the system handle the phone so you can finally focus on the work—and your life—again.
